I decided a couple weeks ago that I wanted to start a conservative blog to post my opinions about things and to share information with everyone out there that I believe to be crucially important to the future of our nation. I woke up one morning and discovered that I went to bed in the land of the free and home of the brave and woke up in a socialist country. Anyone doubting this should really see a recent addition of Newsweek.
I will take the information I pick up during the week and post on a topic of my choosing once a week. I hope that everyone finds this informative.
A little bit about myself. I grew up in Los Angeles, CA. After meeting my wonderful wife I relocated to Las Vegas, NV. We now live in Overton, NV.
In regards to living in the sticks. I believe people would say the sticks would be any city or metro area with fewer than 250,000 people. At least, that is how it seems to be portrayed in the media.

- So, I recently took the Nolan test. It shows where you lie politically based upon your belief set and how it guides you in answering a string of questions. It says I am Libertarian with a sprinkling of Conservatism. Might need to rename the blog, Conservative Sprinkles in the Sticks. That sounds like a good cookie. Aside from the above, I grew up in LA. Got married to a wonderful woman and now find myself living in Overton, NV. I do believe the media has said the sticks is any area with a population of less than a million people.
